Gail Cappiello is an award winning photographer and painter. Gail works in acrylics, pen and ink, graphite and multi media sculpture…and has produced everything from small graphite illustrations and portraits to full-size carousel horse sculptures and sixty-foot murals. Her work has been shown in galleries from New York to New Orleans and her photographs have been published in several "coffee table" publications. Her paintings and illustrations often appear in TV shows and commercials.
Gail draws her perspective from observations she makes at her beach front home. Her love of nature is reflected in her work, her unique perspective guides her photography.
Gail lives at the waters edge on Long Island with her husband, three dogs and her cat. Her yard is often visited by wildlife of all sorts ranging from a resident family of deer to guinea hens, black squirrels, hawks and the occasional osprey. With three grown children and four grandchildren her life is active and fulfilled, a joy often reflected in her art.
